About Us
RCLCT was founded to safeguard Laurel Hill Farms, an ecologically significant property in Cove Neck, New York. The unique 128-acre property spans across the Cove Neck peninsula, from Oyster Bay to Cold Spring Harbor. RCLCT is working to protect and restore wildlife habitat on the property and ensure it remains forever as an example of Long Island’s rich ecological legacy.
Our Mission
The Research Charitable Land Conservation Trust (RCLCT) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to managing Laurel Hill Farms, in Cove Neck, New York, as wildlife sanctuary and nature preserve; to using the property to conduct environmental education programming; and to advancing the conservation of Long Island’s native animals and plants.
