RCLCT offers educational programs at Laurel Hill Farms to introduce Long Islanders to the diversity of the property and help them develop a connection to the natural world.

Program size is limited to 20 attendees. To register, please click on the registration links below.

All programs will meet at the small parking lot at 30 Cove Neck Road, Cove Neck.

Wonderful Warblers!

Join ornithologist Stephane Perreault as we enjoy the sights and sounds of the peak spring warbler migration. The pace will be leisurely, but the program will involve considerable walking through hilly terrain.

 

Saturday, June 10 - 8:00 to 10:00 am - Adults

Songbirds!

Seatuck’s John Turner will lead walk through the Laurel Hill Farms woodlands to search for songbirds and other forest dwellers. The pace will be leisurely, but the program will involve considerable walking through hilly terrain.

Botany Ramble

Join Seatuck staff and John Potente of the Long Island Botanical Society for an introduction to trees, wildflowers and other plants of the deciduous forest.

Salt Marsh Exploration

Seatuck staff will lead a hands-on exploration of the salt marsh – we’ll search for critters and uncover wonders of this unique and important coastal habitat.
